Booze cruises are nothing new: shell out a few bucks, hop on a boat, and drink to your heart’s content. To the residents of Darwin, Australia this simple concept wasn’t nearly good enough and decided to up the ante when it comes to booze cruises. Yesterday marked the 39th annual Beer Can Regatta where ship builders first drink copious amounts of beer and then use the cans to make a sea worthy vessel. Congrats to all the participants who helped raise over $30,000 for local charities.
