Unless you’re still in college, are still into “icing” people, or consider Bud Light Lime your beer of choice it’s time to step up your St. Patrick’s Day game. No more throwing on a green “kiss me I’m Irish” shirt, throwing back a few pints of Guinness and a couple shots of Jameson, and passing out in a bath tub. We live in the Era of Craft Beer and should celebrate St. Paddy’s accordingly.
The Irish practically invented drinking beer so it’s stands to reckon that their cuisine pairs exceptionally well with tall glass of suds. This Sunday, instead of trying to convince people that your sister’s catholic school skirt is a kilt, try pairing traditional Irish fare with some craft beer. And no, your Irish accent isn’t getting better with every Irish Car Bomb.
