1997 was a watershed year for the music industry. The Spice Girls hit the top of the US singles chart, Rebecca Black was born, and Hanson released the timeless classic, “MmmBop.”
The Hanson brothers are all grown up now and are planning to take over another industry: the craft beer industry. The trio announced yesterday that they are in the planning stages of releasing a beer called, wait for it, MmmHops. Said Drummer Zac Hanson, “A branded Hanson IPA beer concept is in the works under the moniker ‘MmmHops’ ” and, unable to resist another pun, added that the idea, “has been brewing for some time.”
How will the craft beer community respond to a beer brewed by Hanson? We have no idea, but now we can’t wait to see what alcoholic beverage Justin Bieber releases when he becomes old and irrelevant.
