No one on the Hapa’s team has ever had an Old Milwaukee or at least refuse to admit that they have. The brewery did win this year’s gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival for American Style Light Lager but isn’t that like winning first place in a popped collar contest: socially unacceptable except in a frat house.
Despite the recognition as the best beer in the category it wasn’t until we saw the below commercials that we even considered trying Old Milwaukee. Best known for playing the roles of Ron Burgundy, Ricky Bobby, and Jackie Moon it wasn’t until these commercials that Will Ferrell really hit his comedic stride. Enjoy!
