The craft beer revolution has been much discussed over the past couple years. Recently, a revolution within the revolution has begun to stir some debate. While the practice of canning beer has been around for 77 years, it’s emergence in craft beer is relatively new. The advent of canned beer has been met with a mixed reaction from the industry and consumers, but that hasn’t stopped breweries from canning some very good beers.
Recently Esquire.com put together a list of the best canned beers. Some big names in the craft industry make the list including Oskar Blues (Dale’s Pale Ale), New Belgium (Fat Tire), and Anderson Valley (Boont Amber Ale). Some great options next time you head to the beach or campground where glass is prohibited. Just no shotgunning allowed!
