Minnesota is home to some of the most storied sports franchises in America like the Vikings and Twins. It is also the home state of some big name celebrities like Jessica Biel and Prince. Minnesota can also boast of electing the original real-life caricature governor in the form of WWE wrestler Jesse Ventura thereby paving the way for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sarah Palin.

Minnesota has a new claim to fame. Due to a budgetary deadlock, the state government has shutdown. While the wait at any government agency is still basically the same, there are some repercussions to the absence of an acting leadership; the hardest felt being the forced removal of 39 brands of MillerCoors beer.
This is a big blow to beer drinkers in the state as MillerCoors holds a 38% market share. Desperate for a beer with minimal taste whose vortex bottle allows for maximum chugging, Minnesotans have been stocking up on Miller Lite.
