New Beer, First Friday, and Food Trucks

We have a packed week at the Hapa’s Taproom!  Tomorrow we’ll be releasing a new beer!  We’re calling this one Counter Clockwise New England IPA.  Brewed with Northern Hemisphere hops, this beer will assault your palate like a hurricane.  Light and hazy in color with copious late and dry hop additions, Counter Clockwise packs a hop punch without overpowering bitterness.  Clocking in at 6.8% ABV and 30 IBUs, look for notes of tropical fruits and citrus.

We’re also introducing First Friday where we’ll welcome local musician Pat Lynch to play an acoustic set on the first Friday of every month.  Pat has played in the taproom before and his mix of blues, rock, and soul sets the vibe right.

Lastly, we have a completely full slate of food trucks this week.  We’ll have dinner service everyday and our first Saturday lunch service.  Come on by for a pint and a bite!

Don’t forget the Dubs take on the Cavs for Game One on Thursday!

Cheers,

Exit 47 Double IPA Release

It’s been four weeks in the making and now Hapa’s Brewing Company’s newest beer is ready to pour.  Exit 47 Double IPA clocks in at 8.5% ABV and 80 IBUs.  Tons of late Azacca, El Dorado, and Centennial hop additions and two rounds of dry hopping give this beer tons of fruit aromatics and flavor.  These play well with a subtle malt background resulting in a hop forward but balanced beer.

Come in and check out our new tulip glasses exclusively for Exit 47!

Cheers!

We got a new toy!

Earlier in the week a special delivery arrived at Hapa’s Brewing Company: a brand new 15 barrel fermenter!  After some dicey maneuvering with a forklift we managed to unload the tank and set it in its rightful place on the brew pad.  This tank is already hooked up and ready for beer!

Cheers!

Amish Rifle Red Ale Dropping Today!

Come down to Hapa’s Brewing Co. for a Happy Hour beer today and try our newest creation!  Amish rifle Red Ale clocks in at 5.8% ABV and 20 IBUs with a mahogany red hue.  A solid amount of caramel and Caramunich malt contribute plenty of unfermentables and residual sweetness.  A sip finishes with a slight roasty-ness thanks to a touch of roasted barley.

Cheers!
